Transitioning to Healthy Nails

Introduction

If you’ve been wearing dips, acrylics, or hard gels, your nails may need a recovery period before moving to Dazzle Dry or regular polish.

At Namaste, we guide you through safe, healthy pathways to achieve strong, smooth natural nails.

1. Overlay Hard Gel with Refills

  • Protective overlay, refilled every 3 weeks.
  • Allows your natural nails to grow out smoothly.
  • Removed gently: the first layer is reduced with a drill, and the final thin layer is soaked off.
  • If you already have hard gel from another salon, we recommend continuing your refills with us until your full nail plate has regrown.
    • Not all hard gels are soakable and some may contain harsh ingredients.
    • At Namaste, we use Bio Sculpture Hard Gel, which is soakable, safe, and gentle on the natural nail.

2. EVO Gel Manicure

  • Gentle gel that is safely soaked off at every service.
  • Supports the nail while new healthy growth comes in.
  • Once the nail plate has fully renewed, you can transition to Dazzle Dry or polish.

3. At-Home Nail Recovery

  • Use our Calcium Base or Lavender Base from the ETHOS Collection by Bio Sculpture.
  • Strengthens and protects while your nails grow out naturally.
  • Once the plate is smooth and healthy, you can transition to Dazzle Dry or polish.

Important to Know

  • Recovery time varies for each client depending on prior damage.
  • Patience and consistency are key.
  • Applying Dazzle Dry or polish too soon may cause peeling, chipping, or poor adhesion.
  • Our team will guide you to the best option for your nail health.
  • With the right care, your nails will become naturally strong, smooth, and ready for a flawless Dazzle Dry or regular polish finish.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

At Namaste Nail Sanctuary & Day Spa, we deeply value your time and trust. To ensure the best service for all of our clients, we kindly ask that you respect the following policies:

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice or missed entirely (No-Shows) will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file.

Credit Card Requirement

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations, whether booked online or in person at our front desk.

Appointment Confirmation

If confirmation is not received at least 24 hours before your appointment, Namaste Nail Sanctuary & Day Spa reserves the right to cancel the booking.

FAQs

Namaste's Manicure/Pedicure Recommendations

We don’t recommend regular polish for manicure. We recommend:

  • Dazzle dry Ideal for short to medium nails. Can last up 7 to 10 days and it can be removed at home like a regular polish (read more about dazzle on “products section”
  • Regular Gel, Ideal for short to medium nails. Can last up to 2 weeks.
  • Hard gel Semi-rigid and ultra-resistant, hard gel is the healthy alternative to acrylic or dips. Can last up to 4 weeks. Ideal for short to long nail. Can be fill like acrylic.

Why do we carry regular polish?

We have a selection of matching color for gel and regular polish. We recommend regular polish on Toes only and you can match it with your gel color manicure. The polish on your toes stays longer because we don’t use our toes like we use our hands.

What is the difference between Regular Gel and Hard Gel ?

  • Hard gel is mostly used to add a length to nails
  • Hard gel can be fill, regular gel no.
  • Hard gel is the strongest gel
  • Hard gel acts as a protective barrier for natural nail
  • Hard gel last about 3-4 weeks
  • Regular gel last about 1-2 weeks
  • Hard Gel is also odorless like regular gel comparator to acrylic

Pros:

  • Can be used for add length instantly
  • Last up to 3-4 weeks
  • Lightweight, strong and durable
  • Oderless comparate to acrylic

Cons:

  • Must be filled or removed by a professional
  • Difficult to shorten or fix at home
Chip Repair

Regular Polish Manicure: We don’t recommend regular polish on your hand, so we don’t offer free nails chip repair for regular polish manicure.

3-Day Free Chip Repair Policy On:

  • Regular Polish on Toes
  • Dazzle Dry
  • Regular gel

Within 3 days after your service please email us with a photo and we will offer you a complimentary touch-up on the affected nails only. You must submit a written request by email with the photo inside the 3 days period. Outside this period there will be a charge of our normal repair fee; please refer to our service list.

7-Day Free Chip Repair Policy On:

  • Hard Gel
  • Dips

Within 7 days after your service please email us with a photo and we will offer you a complimentary touch-up on the affected nails only. You must submit a written request by email with the photo inside the 7 days period. Outside this period there will be a charge of our normal repair fee; please refer to our service list.

On-Time Arrival
To have the best experience, we invite guests to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, use the bathroom, and choose from our vast range of nail polish colors.
Cell Phone On Silent
To maintain our quiet spa-like atmosphere we ask that you please use quiet voices in the Sanctuary. Please refrain from the use of cell phones and turn the ringer to silent or vibrate before entering the Sanctuary.
Minimum Age

What is the minimum age to access the spa?

  • Spa guests must be 16 years of age or over. Minors having treatments must be accompanied by a guardian and/or have a waiver signed by a parent.
  • As a courtesy to our guests, infants, and small children are not allowed into the Spa.
  • Some of our guests may be allergic to animals, therefore pets are not allowed into the Spa.

We love children but NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED IN THE DAY SPA.

Late Cancellation/No Shows

We kindly ask that cancellations or changes be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.

Late Arrivals
Please advise us as soon as you know that you will be delayed. We will try to postpone your appointment to accommodate you. If we are unable to reschedule your treatment, your therapist will provide the remaining portion of your service upon your arrival. In being punctual, you will not lose precious moments of your treatment.
Credit Card Deposits

To reserve your appointment, a valid credit card is required for all bookings made by phone or in person.

  • Namaste Nail Sanctuary & Day Spa Gift Cards may not be used to secure appointments.
  • All credit card information is stored through a secure, encrypted system to ensure your privacy and protection.

We kindly ask that you respect our scheduling policy:

  • 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes to avoid charges.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
  • No-shows will also be charged 50% of the scheduled service.

This policy allows us to honor the time of our team and welcome guests on our waiting list who are eager to book.

Group Bookings
For groups of 3 or more, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, and a 20% gratuity will be added to the service total upon completion of all services, guests may choose to add on to that amount at the time of check out. If there are cancellations and downgrade service less than 24 hours in advance or a no-show, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your originally scheduled appointments. We will require 24 hours' notice to change or cancel the booking and deposits are calculated according to each service.
Medical Conditions
When making any appointments or before your service, please let us know if you are pregnant, have any health conditions, ingrown toenails, or have special needs (e.g. allergies or injuries). This will help customize your service to ensure the highest satisfaction and benefits.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay. No Cash. No checks.
Gratuity
Namaste | Nail Sanctuary Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to secure your appointment or to pay No-Show penalties. Gift Cards cannot be used for gratuity.
Advanced Booking
We recommend that you book your appointments in advance so that we may accommodate your scheduling requests. Walk-ins are always welcome but not guaranteed.
Men's Services
Men are welcome to book any nail care services as well as the eponymously title Gentleman service especially designed with them in mind. Please refer to our service brochure for more details.
Valuables
We suggest that you leave your valuables (i.e., jewelry) at home. NAMASTE NAIL SANCTUARY & DAY SPA cannot be responsible for damaged personal valuables during services and will not be liable for lost or stolen personal items or valuables. Also, please check to make sure that no belongings are left behind.
Refusal of Service
We have the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. This includes safety concerns, medical concerns, or any behavior that we feel is inappropriate. A safe environment must be maintained for our staff and our guests.
